PVL Gold Series Watertight — Herbal Diuretic for Contest Prep
Watertight is a three-part herbal diuretic formula with an added anti-cramping electrolyte matrix, made for physique athletes managing subcutaneous water in the final days before a stage appearance or a photo shoot. It's a short-term, specific-purpose product — not a fat burner and not a weight-loss supplement, despite where it often gets shelved. 90 capsules, in stock at EatMe Supplements.
What It Actually Does
A diuretic increases how much water your kidneys pass out as urine. In a contest-prep context, that means temporarily reducing the water sitting between the skin and the muscle, which is what makes conditioning look sharper on stage. It's worth being precise about the limits of this: you are shifting water, not losing body fat. The scale moves, the fat doesn't, and everything comes back as soon as you rehydrate normally. If your goal is body composition, this is the wrong product entirely and a structured diet with a protein target will do far more.
The Formula
- Three-part herbal diuretic complex — traditional botanical diuretics rather than a pharmaceutical agent, at a dose PVL positions well above a common competitor benchmark.
- Anti-cramping electrolyte matrix — the reason this is included matters. Diuresis flushes electrolytes along with the water, and low sodium, potassium and magnesium are exactly what cause the cramping physique athletes get during peak week. The electrolyte component is a safety and function feature, not a bonus.
- Formulated without banned substances — relevant if you compete in a tested federation.
- Full label disclosure — no proprietary blends hiding the doses.
- GMP-certified manufacturing — produced in PVL's licensed facilities under the standards required for export to over 100 countries.
Who This Is For — and Who It Isn't
It's for experienced physique competitors, working with a coach, in the last few days of a prep, who understand water and sodium manipulation and are being monitored.
It isn't for general weight loss, getting into an outfit at the weekend, weekly use, making weight for a combat sport without qualified supervision, or anyone who isn't already lean enough for water to be the limiting factor. Using a diuretic outside a supervised contest-prep context carries real risk — dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, cramping, dizziness, and impaired kidney function — and gives you nothing lasting in return.
Directions
Take strictly as directed on the product label. Do not exceed the stated dose, and do not extend use beyond the recommended duration. Do not combine with other diuretics, dehydration protocols, saunas or sweat suits without qualified supervision.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this help me lose weight?
Not in any way that lasts. What comes off is water, and it returns once you rehydrate. It has no effect on body fat whatsoever. If weight loss is the goal, this product will only give you a misleading number on the scale.
Is it a fat burner?
No. Diuretics and thermogenics are unrelated categories with unrelated mechanisms. This product is often merchandised alongside fat burners, which is a shelving convention rather than a description of what it does.
Can I use it for a weigh-in?
Making weight through dehydration is common in weight-class sport and it is also where most of the serious harm in this category happens. If you're going to do it, do it under the supervision of a coach and a medical professional who can monitor you, not off the back of a product description.
Will it make me cramp?
The electrolyte matrix is there specifically to reduce that risk, but no diuretic eliminates it. Cramping, dizziness or lightheadedness are signals to stop and rehydrate rather than to push on.
Important Information

Do not use if you are taking prescription diuretics, blood pressure medication, lithium, or any medication affecting kidney function. Consult a healthcare professional before use.
