Product Description

What is Eat Me Supplements BCAA 2:1:1?
Like protein powder, Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) are a muscle building essential. The three BCAAs, leucine, isoleucine, and valine, are the building blocks of lean muscle. They are called essential, or indispensable amino acids, because your body can’t make them from scratch, so they must be supplied in our diet.

Eat Me Supplements BCAA 2:1:1 is unflavoured, so you get 5 grams of BCAAs in every serve. Each serve contains: L-Leucine - 2.5g, L-Valine - 1.25g, L-isoleucine - 1.25g.

Who is Eat Me Supplements BCAA 2:1:1 for?
Getting enough BCAAs in our diet is essential to our overall health, whether these come from consuming protein-rich food, having Whey Protein or Whey Isolate shakes, or taking a BCAA supplement. Here are some groups of people who may benefit from BCAA supplementation:
Tired or fatigued? Consuming BCAAs may help reduce physical and mental fatigue, both from exercise and other everyday activities.
Boosting muscle growth? Getting enough BCAAs is likely to boost muscle growth through activating enzymes responsible for building muscle. BCAAs may also help your muscles feel less sore after exercise.
Trying to lose weight? If you’re trying to lose weight, BCAAs may help your body get rid of unwanted fat more effectively, as well as helping maintain normal blood sugar levels.
Improving liver function? BCAA supplements may be effective at improving liver function and decreasing the risk of complications in individuals who have liver disease.

Suggested Use

Latest studies show that healthy adults need to consume a minimum of 9g a day for women and 12g a day for men (from all sources), however athletes and those doing heavy resistance training would benefit from supplementing with additional 10–20 grams of BCAAs per day.

The best time to take BCAA supplements is before and/or after your workout. Many people who are trying to gain muscle also take them in the morning and before bed.

As a dietary supplement, add one serve (one heaped teaspoon) to your Eat Me protein shake or flavoured drink and mix using a shaker or blender. BCAA powder will not mix using a spoon and a glass.

You could also add one serve of BCAA to the ultimate pre workout, JNX The Curse! and drink 30 minutes before action. Can also be used with Eat Me 100% Whey, Creapure® Creatine and L-Glutamine.

Side effects and warnings:
BCAA supplements generally don't have any side effects. They are not recommended for those suffering from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), or those with maple syrup urine disease. Always check with your GP or another health practitioner when changing your diet or taking a new supplement.
